We're walking for a world without type 1 diabetes in Adelaide!

This March, Brett and I are taking part in the world’s largest Type 1 Diabetes fundraising event for families at Wigley Reserve and we’re doing it for our boy, Jaxson.

We’re walking to help raise $1.1 million for life-changing T1D research, with the hope of one day turning type 1 into type NONE.

Type 1 diabetes can impact anyone, at any time. In Australia, 8 people are diagnosed every single day. A diagnosis means a 24/7 reality with no days off, and around 180 extra decisions every day just to stay safe and healthy.

For Jaxson, and for so many other families living this reality, we’re walking, fundraising, and hoping for a future with better treatments and ultimately a cure.
