Walking for a world without type 1 diabetes in Adelaide!
I’m taking part in the world’s largest Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) fundraising event for families on Sunday, March 22 at Wigley Reserve, Glenelg. The walk is 5km and starts at 10:30.
T1D can affect anyone at any time, I was diagnosed in 2020. Since then, it’s been a 24/7 commitment with no days off. Living with T1D means making an extra 180 decisions every day just to stay safe and healthy. It’s constant, it’s relentless, but it’s also why this cause matters so much to me.
My hope is that one day there will be a cure, and that future kids diagnosed with T1D won’t have to carry the same daily burdens and restrictions.
Come down to show your support, and help raise funds for T1D research!
