Third Time Lucky: One Walk, One Cause, One Very Persistent Dad
Hi friends!
Yep… it’s me again. Third year in a row. Same guy. Same cause. Same awkward moment where I ask you for money.
I’m organising One Walk again, raising funds for Type 1 diabetes research through Breakthrough T1D. I do this for my daughter — and because science is actually doing some pretty cool stuff lately.
Last year alone, research made huge strides, including stem cell breakthroughs (yes, including that woman overseas who no longer needs insulin). We’re not at “cure tomorrow” yet, but we are at “this is genuinely exciting” — and that only happens because of research funding.
So here I am, kindly asking you to:
• Donate (if you can)
• Join us on 15 March for One Walk
• Share the link so I don’t have to keep reposting it myself
Our goal this year is to raise over $25,000 again, helping push the national total past $1 million. Big goals, big hearts, comfy walking shoes.
Thanks for supporting us, tolerating my annual post, and helping turn hope into progress
