I'm walking for a world without type 1 diabetes in Adelaide!

This year, we are walking alongside Fletcher at the annual One Walk event to raise vital funds for Type 1 diabetes research.

We have been on this journey for almost two years now — and the reality is, it doesn’t get any easier. Type 1 diabetes is relentless. It’s a 24/7 condition with no days off, no breaks, and no cure. Every single day brings constant carb counting, insulin injections, finger pricks, alarms, and the exhausting rollercoaster of high and low blood sugars.

But we will never stop advocating.
We will never stop fighting.

We are walking for a future where Fletcher can live free from injections, free from carb counting, and free from the constant burden of managing this disease.

This March, I’m joining the world’s largest Type 1 diabetes fundraising event for families at Wigley Reserve to help raise $1.1 million for life-changing research — and to help turn Type 1 into Type NONE.

In Australia, 8 people are diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes every single day. A diagnosis means facing an extra 180 health-related decisions daily just to stay safe and well. It’s overwhelming, it’s exhausting, and it’s unfair — especially for a child.
