Walking for hope 💙

This March, I’m walking 8,000 steps a day for the 8 Australians diagnosed with type 1 diabetes every single day.

Almost 4 years ago, I was diagnosed with this lifelong autoimmune disease. Every day means endless monitoring, calculations, injections, alarms, fear of lows, fear of health complications and the mental load of around 180 extra decisions - just to stay alive.

It changes everything. Your life, your routine, your relationships, and your sense of safety within your own body.

I’m walking for everyone living this 24/7 fight- for kids who have never known a life without it, for adults diagnosed out of the blue, and for the families carrying the weight alongside them.

Research gives hope for better treatments, better technology, and a future where diabetes doesn’t control lives.

If you can, please support my walk. Your donation isn’t just money - it’s hope. 💙
