I'm walking for a world without type 1 diabetes in Albury for my beautiful daughter Elsie and my cousin Jacqui!

I'm joining the world's largest type 1 diabetes (T1D) fundraising event for families at Hovell Tree Park this March!

In November 2025 my beautiful girl Elsie was diagnosed with T1D at the age of 12. Elsie became extremely unwell and ended up admitted to ICU . It was a shock to everyone and something Elsie is learning to live with daily. She has been so brave since the start and I couldn't be prouder of how she has taken T1D on and not let it get the better of her.

I am walking to help raise $1.1 million for life-changing T1D research, and ultimately turn type 1 into type NONE.

T1D can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed with it every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break, and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
