I'm walking for a world without type 1 diabetes in Brisbane!
I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) in June last year, 1 month after I turned 4 years old.
I'm joining the world's largest T1D fundraising event for families at Roma St Parklands this March!
I am walking with my family to help raise $1.1 million for life-changing T1D research, and ultimately turn type 1 into type NONE.
T1D can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break, and facing almost 200 extra decisions a day to remain safe, healthy and ALIVE!
