I'm walking for a world without type 1 diabetes in Port Macquarie!
Last year, I had the honour of teaching 2 young boys with T1D. The resilience shown by them and their families is inspiring. This impacts every day of their lives. They did not choose it, but every day they deal with it because they have no choice. Help find a cure and take away so much stress and worry from so many lives.Why? To help raise $1.1 million for life-changing T1D research, and ultimately turn type 1 into type NONE.
T1D can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed with it every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break, and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
