I'm walking for a world without type one diabetes

I'm walking for a world without type 1 diabetes in Sydney!

I'm joining the world's largest type 1 diabetes (T1D) fundraising event for families at Rhodes Foreshore Park this weekend 💙

I’ve been living with Type 1 Diabetes for 18 years, and it’s something that impacts every single day of my life. Behind the scenes, it’s constant monitoring, injections, managing highs and lows, and making decisions that most people never have to think about. It’s not just about sugar — it’s a complex, lifelong condition that can be incredibly challenging.

Over the years, I’ve spent thousands on medical supplies and have faced some really scary moments, including multiple hospital visits and even being in a coma. But I’ve also been so lucky to have the support of my family, friends, doctors, and the amazing camps I attended when I was younger — they’ve helped shape who I am today.

There is still so much stigma and misunderstanding around diabetes, and I want to help change that while also supporting those who are going through similar journeys.

Any donation, big or small, would mean so much to me. Thank you for your support 💙
