Georgia’s Story
Join us on 29th March 2026, for our second year of walking towards a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
The 9th September 2024, will be a day that stays with us forever. The day our girl was diagnosed with T1D, an autoimmune disease we knew little about.
The first few months were nothing short of traumatic. The grief was real as we mourned the ease of life that we once knew and took for granted. Our little girl forced to endure more than any child should ever have to go through.
Fast forward 18 months, and we’re so grateful for life saving technology. Does it get easier? No, we just get stronger and adapt to our new normal. We have a little girl way beyond her years, that takes life in her stride and is thriving at school. Something that wouldn’t be possible without our incredible army. T1D requires an additional 180 decisions a day. The mental load is heavy and never stops.
