I'm walking for a world without type 1 diabetes in Darwin!
This May, I’ll be joining the world’s largest type 1 diabetes (T1D) fundraising event at Bicentennial Park—and I’m walking with a very personal reason close to my heart. Diabetes runs deep in my family: siblings, cousin, and even my own child are living with T1D. I see every day how it impacts their lives—every decision, every moment, every day.
I want to do my part to help change this. By raising funds, we can support life-changing research and bring us closer to a world where T1D becomes type NONE.
8 Australians are diagnosed with T1D every day. I’m walking so that one day, no one else has to face this 24/7 challenge.
