Hi, Im Savannah!

I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at two years old. I am super excited to be doing my 2nd walk for a world without type 1 diabetes.

As a two year old diagnosed with T1D I really wouldn't know my life to be any other way, but there is hope that one day in my life time we might find a cure.

Since diagnosed I've had a rollacoaster ride with all of the highs and all of the lows, hospital appointments and admissions when i become unwell.

I face many challenges everyday with
countless finger pricks, sensor and site changers and everything that comes with T1D but I am brave and so resilient!

A cure would mean the absolute world to me and my family, so I and everyone living with type 1 diabetes could live life to the fullest without having to tackle day to day challengers with T1D and just being able to be a regular little girl not having a worry in the world besides my costume changers!
