Well that’s it gone way beyond my comfort zone sharing our story and Evie’s diagnosis let’s hope whatever I raise gets us that little bit closer to a cure ❤️
We're walking for a world without type 1 diabetes in Redlands!
We're joining the world's largest type 1 diabetes (T1D) fundraising event for families at the Redland Showgrounds Plaza Zone this March!
Why? To help raise $1.1 million for life-changing T1D research, and ultimately turn type 1 into type NONE. This would mean my beautiful daughter Evie aged 10 will be able to return to being the beautiful carefree child that she was prior to diagnosis and not need to take insulin daily just to keep her alive.
T1D can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break, and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
