William's Story
Our strong little man was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at just 16 months old. What followed was a life-changing journey filled with finger pricks, injections, sleepless nights, and learning more than we ever imagined possible.Nearly six months on, William is absolutely kicking goals. He has shown resilience beyond his years, adapting to his new normal with courage, strength, and a smile that keeps us going. Recently, William reached a big milestone and received his first insulin pump - a huge step forward in helping manage his diabetes and giving him more freedom to just be a little boy.
We are walking to raise awareness, support vital research, and stand with all families living with Type 1 Diabetes. Every step we take is for William and for the many others facing this journey every day. Thank you for supporting our little legend and being part of his walk

We're joining the world's largest type 1 diabetes (T1D) fundraising event for families at Wentworth Falls Lake this March!
Why? To help raise $1.1 million for life-changing T1D research, and ultimately turn type 1 into type NONE.
T1D can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break, and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
