I'm walking for a world without type one diabetes

Me!

I was diagnosed in 2014 when I was 11 years old, after losing 30kg in 3 months I was a very sick teenager. I couldn’t stay awake long enough to go to school or do any activities an 11 year old should be able to do. I got my diagnosis on the 15th of September , countless injections , high and low blood sugar , thousands of needles and plenty of hospital visits later, im trying to change the trajectory of plenty diabetics through fundraising to hopefully one day find a cure. Please join me on this adventure!

I'm walking for a world without type 1 diabetes in Illawarra!

I'm joining the world's largest type 1 diabetes (T1D) fundraising event for families at Reddall Reserve this March!

Why? To help raise $1.1 million for life-changing T1D research, and ultimately turn type 1 into type NONE.

T1D can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break, and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.

Please support my walk today.
