Today is THE day!
The rain has stopped and the sun has started to come out so I'm just about to set off and pick up. Paddy and head to the Newcastle Breakthrough T1D walk.In the home stretch
This has been quite a journey. I have been overwhelmed by the generosity of people both near and far. I've had some money put into my hand at local clubs and functions as well as receiving significant donations from the US, Canada, Denmark and Portugal,Local community is everything
I've just come back from a trivia evening that we've been attending the last 3 years. The support everyone here has been amazing, Nearly $500 added to the total. Thanks to everybody. Outstanding!Wow!

I'm joining the world's largest type 1 diabetes (T1D) fundraising event for families at Bolton Point Community Hall this March!
Why? To help raise $1.1 million for life-changing T1D research, and ultimately turn type 1 into type NONE.
T1D can strike anyone at any time, and our grandson was diagnosed at the age of 2 and this means means a 24/7 fight with no break, and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
