I'm walking for Hazel Williamson

Hazel’s Story

Hazel June Williamson was diagnosed with diabetes in August 2024 at just 5 years old. Despite this big change, Hazel continues to shine with her joyful spirit.

She loves playing with her friends and cousins, exploring new moves as she learns acro, and cherishing her role as a sister to her big brother Theo and little brother Sonny.

Hazel’s resilience and energy inspire everyone around her - she’s a little warrior with a big heart.

I'm walking for a world without type 1 diabetes in Busselton!

I'm joining the world's largest type 1 diabetes (T1D) fundraising event for families at Busselton Beachfront this March!

Why? To help raise $1.1 million for life-changing T1D research, and ultimately turn type 1 into type NONE.

T1D can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break, and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
