Diabetes walk for Scott

Hi guys,
Im Sarah, wife of Scott, who has lived with type 1 diabetes since he was 18 years old. (He is now 46!)

Im walking and raising some funds to show him support and that even though this disease is often not seen or talked about we are all here behind him and many others living with Type 1 diabetes every minute of everyday.

This disease is not just blood glucose monitoring and insulin injections, it's daily struggles of ups and downs, physical and emotional too that often others do not see or hear about.

The more we talk about it and show up to support those with type 1 diabetes, it can lessen the burden for them and support their mental health.

I am hoping that this walk and the funds raised will show Scott that we are all here with him on this journey!
