I'm walking for a world without type 1 diabetes in Melbourne!

In July 2025, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D), a autoimmune condition with no cure. Since my diagnosis, I’ve had to learn how to manage blood sugar levels every day through insulin, constant monitoring, and lifestyle adjustments that most people never have to think about.

T1D can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed with it every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break, and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
